The Lorain County Community Housing Impact and Preservation (CHIP) program, in partnership with the Cities of Amherst, Oberlin, North Ridgeville, and Sheffield Lake provides home repairs or private rehabilitations for income- eligible homeowners who reside in Lorain County (excluding the Cities of Elyria and Lorain). Eligible repairs may include plumbing, electrical work, roofing, furnace replacement, ADA accessibility modifications, water heaters, walk-in showers, and other essential health and safety improvements.
